Tree Preservation Orders

Many trees are safeguarded by tree preservation orders, or TPOs, which means they are legally protected. Trees that are subject to these orders need to be treated differently from most, as it may be an offence to prune or remove them without the consent of a local authority.

Our detailed surveys will check if your trees are subject to a preservation order, and we will be able to advise on what treatments can and cannot be conducted to avoid you falling afoul of the law.
